"Teachers' Expectations Can Influence How Students Perform" Summary

This article is about how expectations of teachers mold and shape the way students think and how they perceive their educational experience. I do believe that some teachers hold their expectations of of students higher than others, and I do believe they subconsciously categorize their students. This article talked about how some teachers are undergoing training to change their expectations before going in to the classrooms. I believe if teachers were made to go through a training like this in every educational program it would drastically change the way students thought about their education, I think they would feel more engaged and less threatened by their expectations that precede them.
